FREE Yoga and FitCamp – Beginner Friendly

On December 5th, 2015, Eastside Fitness will be holding two free classes during our Christmas Open House. It is a great opportunity to try out a class and meet some of our instructors. Along with the other fun open house activities– tasty treats, decorating the fitness tree, 12pm draw prizes, and the BOGO sale (Buy One class pass Get One for half price) – we will also be holding two free classes for those new to our Eastside Fitness Community and new to fitness in general. You MUST pre-register by December 1st if you wish to attend these classes as space is limited.  You can pre-register online at the links provided. FitCamp Basics 1:30pm – 2:30pm FitCamp is the Eastside Fitness version of “bootcamp”.  You will learn how to do various conditioning exercises including strength training, core work, and cardio intervals.  Please wear running shoes, bring a water bottle, and be prepared to sweat, laugh, and feel great! REGISTER HERE Yoga for Beginners Everything you wanted to know about yoga but were afraid to ask 3pm – 4:15pm In this class you will learn some of the common postures/poses and sequences you will encounter in most yoga classes, especially the Sun Salutation.  You will also learn what a yoga class consists of.  Yoga is done in barefeet.  We provide all the mats and props you will need for the class.  It is most comfortable if you wear clothing that does not have buckles, buttons, or zippers, and that you can move around in easily.
