40 Days of Sun Salutations

Commit to Fit Mobility Challenge begins on November 11th and runs for 40 days through to the Winter Solstice on December 21st.  The challenge is as simple as preforming a Sun Salutation, at least one per day. You may also choose to do other types of mobility drills or other yoga sequences.  Ask a yoga instructor or personal trainer for details and other ideas.  Join our online community which will also have daily reminders and ideas about things such as the traditions of Sun Salutions, the anatomy of the sequence, non yoga based sequences, and the importance of mobility to overall health and fitness.  Click here to join our group.

On the final day of the challenge, we gather for a special yoga tradition which involves preforming 108 Sun Salutations on the day of the Winter Solstice.  You can do them on your own or you can join us Eastside Fitness at 11am.  From our past events, we know that it can take anywhere from 1 – 2 hours to perform the full 108 Sun Salutes. Please join us even if you plan to only perform a few.  It is fun to move and breath together.  Click here to join us at the studio on December 21st.
