Eastside Road Rides
The Eastside Road Ride meets every other Saturday.
Eastside Road Rides continue through the spring. We will leave the studio at 8:30am and head out for 3-3.5 hr rides. All levels are welcome. We love to help beginner cyclists and can even provide coaching for those wanting to get more serious. We will be heading over to the North Shore and doing some climbing at this time of year. It is not recommended to do these rides without some “endurance” work behind you. Our group rides are free!
Spring Road Rides are officially over. Weekend group rides begin again in October.
Wednesday Evening Coached Workouts
Dust off your road bike and come ride with us! These weekly workouts will focus on speed, strength and power. Meet at Eastside Fitness and complete interval or hill workouts as well as a few longer rides as the evenings stay lighter, longer. These workouts will help to hone your group riding skills which are so important for any mass participation events you may be undertaking. The rides are coached by Darnelle Moore, former elite level cyclist, NCCP coach, personal trainer and owner of Eastside Fitness.
NOTE: These weekday rides will begin again in Spring 2013 In the meantime, please check out our off season options of various evening yoga classes and the Wednesday evening Athletic Conditioning class geared for runners, cyclists and other endurance athletes.
